Where the origins of the name came from, and more about my family history, especially after watching "Who do You Think You Are"
I was brought up in Birmingham, by my parents I don't remember ether of my Grandad's
But I do know his name, which was Alfred Thomas and that he was born in 1873 on 28th May.
The only Grandparent I remember, was my Gran on my mothers side, as she had a fearsome temper, I have a vivid memory of my Gran throwing a large heavy pan at my mother.
Though I have no idea why she did, my sister & myself were frightened of her, the only person she liked.
Was my youngest brother, who she said was cheeky, but she really liked him !
